ESCUADRÓN 303 — LANZAS DEL ALBA is a virtual flight-simulation community. This policy explains how personal data may be handled through the public website and related community administration.

2. Data we may process

• Names, nicknames and organizational roles voluntarily supplied by members.
• VATSIM CID and publicly relevant VATSIM affiliation information where publication is required and the member has the appropriate consent/authorization.
• Flight, training and participation records needed for organization management and VSOA compliance.
• Contact information voluntarily provided for membership or operational coordination.
• Technical information generated by the hosting provider, such as IP address, browser and security logs, where applicable.

3. Purposes

Data may be processed to administer membership, maintain operational and training records, coordinate flights, meet VATSIM/VSOA requirements, publish an authorized roster, respond to enquiries, maintain website security and comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal basis

Depending on the processing, the basis may be consent, performance of an organizational arrangement requested by the member, legitimate interests in operating and securing the community, or compliance with a legal obligation. Where consent is required, it will be requested separately and may be withdrawn.

5. Publication and sharing

We will only publish personal data on the public website where there is an appropriate basis to do so. Data may be shared with VATSIM/its Special Operations staff where necessary for an application, verification, compliance review or authorized VSOA activity. We do not sell personal data.

6. Retention

Records are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the stated purpose, organizational accountability, VSOA compliance and legal obligations. When no longer required, data will be deleted or anonymized where appropriate.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, individuals may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection or portability of their personal data, and may withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis. Requests should be sent to the privacy contact above.

8. Cookies

The website is designed to operate without advertising or non-essential tracking cookies. Hosting/security infrastructure may process technical data necessary to deliver and protect the service.

9. Third-party services

The project may use services such as VATSIM, Cloudflare, Discord, TeamSpeak and flight-tracking or operational tools. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. ESCUADRÓN 303 does not control their independent processing.

10. Complaints

Individuals in the European Economic Area may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection supervisory authority.

11. Virtual-organization disclaimer

ESCUADRÓN 303 is a virtual simulation organization and is not affiliated with the Spanish Ministry of Defence, Spanish Air and Space Force, EMAD, or any real-world military or government organization.
